Tool making and language

The crocodile ate a man "and" the man ate the crocodile (are very different things).

Other languages use different ways, such as word endings

Mouth breathing let them move more air in and out of the lung, which let them run for longer distance.

Fossil remains of our distant and near relatives are indispensable for tracing the brain's evolution.

Just as important as the brain in language development are changes in the larynx (the voice box).

Trying to establish when language began is difficult, because there's no direct evidence.

Brains are hungry organs, about 20% of calories you consume go to your maintaining your brain. A large brain requires a higher quality diet.

Development of Culture

What would happen if culture were placed closer to the heart of decision making in society? And how might that happen? The Europeans, through reports and new organizations, have been working to creating a fundamental shift in the political and public consciousness of what culture is, and to analyze its relationship to development.

As now you can see everything had developed even fire. Acient people had a lot of this thing too but they didn't know how to use them. As every thing development things are getting better and better.

Who were the hobbits?

They stood no teller then a 4-year-old child.
They lived in caves and harnessed fire,  all on a Norway island. The specimens have [skulls] that resemble something that died a million years ago.Other body parts reminiscent of three million years-old.

How old, everyone agrees. Radiocarbon dating on the remains of  eight different hobbit individuals sets their age at 38,00 years old. other physical evidence suggests then could have lived as recent as 12,000
years ago.

Humans are traditionally associated with bigger brains, through evolution , more brain has suggested more intelligence.

Fire

How does the use of fire demonstrate prehistoric people's ability to adapt to their environment?
Provide examples and relevant details to support your thinking?

They didn't use fire that much because they didn't  now what to do. Now as everything in the world develops, you can do all kind of different things with fire. Ancient people used fire for making food and tea. Animals were burned, so people were able to eat them. Also, fire is a source of heat. Ancient people cooked on fire everything they would find.

Reflection for unite 1

This unit was a very interesting unit because there was a lot to learn for a very short period of time. There was a lot of different things we did. We had a field  trip to the high school where we had to dig, the teacher put some of the pottery we found and we found a lot of different things that weren't planned.
